THE CORE
FORGE、BULWARK
ECHO is an older saxophone player who says almost nothing about his past.
He was once in the military, serving as FORGE and BULWARK's superior officer. His current occupation is unknown.
He has long-standing ties with BLADE and HAMMER, and HAMMER asks him to join MARSHIVERN.
His tenor saxophone sounds for what goes unspoken. It never crows in victory; it remains in the air after a song ends.
MARSHIVERNとの接点WITH MARSHIVERN
ECHO does not join the ordinary five-piece. But when a song needs a wistfulness or a weight of time that rock alone cannot reach, he appears as though leading the three brass players. In his dealings with MARSHIVERN he shows not atonement in words, but the act of waiting silently for those who take the long way round.
Places at a song's end a resonance different from RAVEN's heat.
Builds a wordless solo exchange between elders with BLADE's guitar.
His primary instrument at the outset is tenor saxophone. Switching is considered only when a song calls for it.
- BLADE
A rival whose aesthetic he acknowledges. Each can treat the other's silence as playing.
- RAVEN
He watches the heat that wants to go on ahead, from the side of the ending.
- FORGE/BULWARK
Companions who share the past and hold the trio's center of gravity.
OFF STAGE
Beyond the Stage
The quiet, almost ritual time he spends shaving his head — the calmest part of his day.
Harsh fluorescent light — he hates places where he can't keep his sunglasses on.
